A MONTHLY RESIDENCY PROGRAM AT MONOLITH STUDIO(BARODA)

What’s that!

This is one of the first activities from the list that we have designed for the year 2010. The aim is to invite and give opportunity to anyone who is from a visual/performing/literature background and is interested in establishing interaction within the community in Baroda.

Can I apply?

Yes, of course, only pre-requisite that we are looking for a desire/motivation and a need to work in Baroda, and the ability to adjust to the new environment and its limitations. We don’t have any age bar but still would prefer at least graduate in his/her described area.

What will we provide?

We will be providing you a studio space in Monolith (which you will have to share with the team members), accommodation and a very limited budget. Also at the end of the month long residency we will keep an open day.

Great! How can I apply?
Although we dont have any prescribed deadline for this residency since it will be a year long project where 12 participants will be invited for 12 months, but we would appreciate that you write to us before 25th of each month to be able to apply for the successive month.
Write to us at
monolithart.baroda@gmail.com
With your bio-data, few work images and if possible your plan of execution during the residency.
